CHECK IN/OUT

Check In: 1:00 PM to no later then 10:00 PM

Check Out: 11:00 AM sharp. In order to prepare campsites for future guests, this check out time will be strictly enforced.

VEHICLES/CAR PASSES

There is a 2-vehicle maximum for all sites. Your reservation fee comes with one (1) vehicle (a drivable camping unit or the vehicle towing the camping unit). Any additional vehicle will automatically be assessed a $12 fee for a 2nd Car Pass which is required for entry to the campground. You will see this charge as Car x 1 in your list of 'Fees' in your reservation.

When registering the number of vehicles while making your reservation, list all drivable camping units or vehicles towing a camping unit. DO NOT register or count a camper or trailer that is being towed because it will prompt the system to charge for a 2nd Car Pass.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

Eight (8) days or more before arrival date - full refund less non-refundable reservation fee and an $8.75 cancellation fee

Two (2) to seven (7) days before with one-night penalty fee, non-refundable reservation fee and an $8.75 cancellation fee

Less than two (2) days before arrival - no refund

Campers may cancel their reservation online by logging into their Reserve America account or by contacting the Reserve America Call Center during their operating hours.

Refunds will not be issued for weather, site conditions, no-shows, cancellations or early departures on or after the arrival date.

OCCUPANCY AND LENGTH OF STAY
Occupancy of the campsite is required on the first night of the reservation. A campsite unoccupied during this initial period is declared a “no show” and will be reassigned with all payment forfeited. Please call the campground if you are going to be late arriving for your reservation.

Peak Season (defined as the Thursday before Memorial Day Weekend in May through the Sunday of Labor Day weekend in September of each year)

Reservations made prior to June 1- The minimum number of nights that may be reserved before June 1 of each year is two (2) nights. A three (3) night minimum stay is required for Memorial Day, 4th of July (if it falls on a Friday or Monday) and Labor Day weekends.

Reservations made after June 1 - Any campsite that has not been reserved by June 1 may be reserved for a one (1) night minimum stay.

Off-Peak Season (defined as Labor Day through the Wednesday before Memorial Day – A minimum stay of one (1) night is required for the Off-Peak Season

*KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!

RI State Parks has adopted rules and policies to protect campground areas for future generations as well as for the convenience and safety of current visitors. It is the camper's responsibility to read and follow the campground rules and policies.

Please review RI State Parks Campground Policies prior to reserving your campsite.

Customers that misrepresent information in order to circumvent reservation policies will not be accommodated upon arrival at the campground. Violation of any rule and/or regulation is grounds for revocation of the camping permit. If a permit is revoked, no refund will be issued. Any person or persons voided on a camping permit are not allowed to reenter any camping area for the duration of the camping season.

All reservation policies and restrictions apply to Internet customers. Prior to finishing a reservation transaction, the Internet customer is asked to "agree" to all the terms given. Refunds are not available for misunderstanding of terms.

Notes

Lifeguards may not be available at all times. The use of flotation devices in the swimming area is strictly prohibited. Florescent orange requirements apply for all users of the adjacent George Washington Management Area during hunting season, including but not limited to hikers and cyclists.

Firewood: The RI Department of Environmental Management urges all visitors to RI Campgrounds and Parks to help STOP THE SPREAD of nonnative insects and diseases. Transporting firewood can also transport a number of insects and diseases that threaten the health of our forests. Gypsy moth, emerald ash borer, and beech bark disease are just a few of the growing number of firewood hitchhikers that can kill large numbers of trees. You can help by following these simple precautions:

1. Do not bring firewood with you when you camp.
2. Buy firewood when you reach your destination.
3. Do not take any firewood with you when you leave. Burn it all or give it to other campers in the park.

PROTECT RHODE ISLAND FORESTS - DO NOT TRANSPORT FIREWOOD!
