Description
31 Acre Day Use Recreation Area on Watchhaug Pond in Charlestown, RI. This park consists of a wooded picnic grove with first come/ first serve picnic tables, a sandy shoreline with a small swim area, 4 self-composting toilets with 1 being ADA accessible, and a rentable covered shelter that allows up to a maximum of 50 people. This area is also adjacent to the Kimball Sanctuary and a state boat launch for boating and fishing both located on Sancutary Road. Personal Watercraft are prohibited on this pond per local ordinance.

Shelter rental allows for 3 cars to park at the shelter with a slightly sloped gravel path leading from the paved parking lot to the shelter. Approximate length of gravel path from parking lot to shelter is 140 feet.
